A Welcome in the Garden...

Hello, my fellow readers and dog friends. It's the one and only Trevor aka T Man, bringing you this planted blog post. I know some of you have missed me. BOL I wanted to have the opportunity to send a personal greeting this holiday season.

As you know, Brenda moved to a different apartment on September 3rd of this year. What you didn't know was that I moved here several days before she did. BOL. I actually moved in on the Friday before on August 29th, when Brenda and her friend started bringing items over. Brenda wanted me to be here first to get the lay of the land. Anyone here watch a game show called; 'The Floor'? That is what the host Rob Lowe says every week. I thought it was pretty cool. This place is so spacious, especially the living room. Brenda has joked that she could have a dance party here. BOL

She has done a great job decorating this place. It's been so much fun being here and seeing more natural light when the sun shines, which is the case today, although it is bone chilly out there. We are enjoying the warmth of a heated apartment.

She has had an opportunity to meet some of her neighbors, not all of them yet, but the ones she has met, have all welcomed her to the building. That is where the idea for this planted blog post came from. It was hard for Brenda to leave her other apartment that she lived at for 33 years. She actually had lived at that same complex after she graduated from college with 2 of her sisters. There is a lot of history and memories left behind. Now it's time to create a new chapter with different surroundings.

I'm here to greet anyone who comes here. I spend a lot of time in that spacious living room that Brenda has made so inviting. She received a plaque yesterday with the words; "Collect moments, not things" She has it hanging in the living room, so anyone who comes will see it.

Her hobby room or 2nd bedroom, is where Brenda does all of her writing. She has made it a very personal place for her to hang out. She listens to music to help her get centered. It's starting to feel like home to her.

Brenda came to a realization this week, that a move was what she needed. It's been a lot of work getting settled, but has been worth it.

You start to realize how much stuff you have when you go through items. It's a great time to purge and also to donate, which Brenda did. I'm so proud of her. She did all of the packing of boxes by herself. I'm sure she gained muscles, because as you know, muscle has memory.

It's great to have everything in its place. Her pantry is one of her favorite rooms, because she can store so much in there. It's warm too which is strange, because there is no heater in there.

We hope you all have a blessed Christmas or any other holiday you might celebrate. I wanted to share my pawspective of how this whole experience has been a blessing in disguise.

Until next time, keep blooming!

Trevor aka T Man Barking Off, BOL

Love and golden hugs ðŸ’›
