A Blooming Business...

It's time for another planted blog post. This month is all about love, but I'm going to be sharing about a new business in town, that I absolutely adore. If you live in Bismarck, ND, this is a place you definitely need to be checking out. It's located right inside CHI St. Alexius Health at 310 North 10th Street. When you walk in through the sliding doors, make a right and you will discover a place that serves up breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week. It's called Cafe Noko and it's a small family owned business. Their hours are 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

When you walk in you will be greeted with a friendly staff, which includes, Brian, Amy and Cindy, Brian's mom who is always creating one of her famous masterpieces in the way of salads. There are fresh made goodies each day. What you may find are muffins, cookies, caramel rolls, danish pastries, etc. Something is always being made and the aroma is so inviting. Some of their specialties for breakfast are their frittatas, quiches and a favorite, an egg sandwich. I will include their menu at the end, so you can see for yourself.

Some of my favorites include; A hot White Chocolate Butterscotch Mocha, Huckleberry Lemonade or pretty much any flavor with a splash of club soda. I like the fact that I can enjoy these without caffeine, but for anyone who needs their morning pick me up, that's available for you as well.

It's great for the medical community to have a place like this, especially for the hospital and for me, all I have to do is walk through the tunnel from the clinic. They are always busy and their business is definitely blooming.

I love going there to pick up my lunch. Some of my favorites have been of course their salads, the one I enjoy the most is the Apple Walnut salad with or without onions. Anyone who knows me, can take a wild guess which one I get. Thai salad another favorite, Korean bulgogi beef tacos over rice, Knoephia, Kraut with smoked sausage and a side of corn. Great German dish.

It's pretty much my go-to place during the work week, as I mentioned up above the convenience and it gives me a chance to get a little walk in and take a break.

It's not unusual to be greeted by name as you walk in. You really do begin to feel like family, as it's so inviting. I recommend you check it out and see for yourself. I promise you, you'll not be disappointed.

I'm all about promoting those who do good work for others. You can tell that Brian enjoys cooking up these specials. He gets so excited. I've seen it firsthand.

I hope you have enjoyed this special planted blog post. I'm so happy we have this place. So come out and support this wonderful new family owned business.

Until next time, KEEP BLOOMING!
❤️ Brenda
